So, it's been a long time since I wrote anything. It's been one thing after another and I'll catch up on all that later. Right now, I'm more furious than I've been in a very long time and I'm tired of hateful, awful, stupid, cruel people so I'm here to blow off some steam.
Our cat River went missing on 8/24/2022. It's been eleven days now with no sightings, no calls, nothing. Today I gt a call from someone saying they found him at a gas station up the street. I asked if they were there and would they wait for us so they could show us where he was. I even asked what car they were driving. I grabbed our cat carrier and we took off. When we got there, no one was there waiting for us and we realized it was a shitty prank. They saw my number on a flyer and I guess they thought it was funny. Normally, I wouldn't answer a number I don't know, but they called and I didn't answer and then they called back so I thought it may be legit. But, shame on me for not asking for more details or at least a photo. We were devastated...and angry. I called the number several times with no answer so I text them. I told them to "...find someone else to prank, you jerk," to which they replied, "ok" and "Sorry." Really!? Sorry for what? Being an incredibly horrible excuse for a human being? Yes, that's what you are.
Looking up the number, we found it traces back to a Beulah Johnson. Not sure if that's the kids family or an old owner of that number. Regardless, I'm posting the number here relentlessly after posting on social media, reporting the number for illegal use, and warning others in other groups and apps to notify them of these cruel offenders and also publicize the number. Hoping this listing of it helps create some chaos for them, and if not, well, at least I feel a little better knowing my social media group has it and can do what they feel is right!
